Trafford is a small community, and with the planned expansion of the East Busway to the Allegheny side of Trafford will only provide more options for riders in Trafford. The goal will be able to connect Trafford to the rest of the bus network, and to important resource such as Forbes Hospital. There will be a few routes all receiving the designation of 91. The routes are as follows:
- 91: Trafford Local
- 911E: Mosside Blvd
- 912E: Trafford
91: Trafford Local
The 91: Trafford Local will be intended to serve the community of Trafford, and everyone to the extended East Busway. This will be a benefit to those that are disabled, elderly, or with children. The 91: Trafford Local will terminate at the East Busway where the rider can go anywhere that the old 69: Trafford would have served even if a number of routes will be required. Since the 91: Trafford Local is a connector, it is a lower price for those that would have to pay for their fares.
911E: Mosside Blvd
The 911E: Mosside Blvd will connect those in Trafford to Haymaker Village, and Forbes Hospital. This will be done by connecting riders to Mosside Blvd via Broadway Blvd. The route will start at the Trafford Station of the East Busway, and continue through there. In addition, other stores and resources will also be made available to the rider.
912E: Trafford
The 912E: Trafford will operate as the current 69: Traffod with a couple of exceptions. The first is the Trafford terminus will be at the East Busway. The other end of the 912E: Trafford will be at Wilkinsburg Station. Those needing to connect with S. Dallas Avenue, or Forbes Avenue will be able to board a second route to get the rider into Oakland. However, there will be better options if the rider needed to go to Oakland (1E: East Busway – Oakland), or Downtown (E1: East Busway). Since the East Busway will be extended to Trafford under ACT, there will be no need for a Trafford Flyer. This will reduce the number of primary routes during the busiest times of the day.
