Braddock, North Braddock, and Braddock Hills will all serve with the 13 designation. While these are 3 distinct communities, they don’t warrant unique designations when one would work just fine. There will be a connector that would connect Braddock Hills with Braddock. Braddock and North Braddock will connect using secondary and primary routes. The East Busway will be extended to serve Braddock and North Braddock, Once the East Busway gets extended to these communities, there will be a less of a need for a primary route since one will be able to board the E1: East Busway. While in Oakland, the buses that serves Oakland will use Fifth Avenue in both directions while in Oakland. The routes will turn on Bigelow Blvd to connect to Forbes Avenue to where the routes will operate as normal. The routes are as follows:
- 13: Braddock Hills
- 131E: Braddock
- 132E: North Braddock
13: Braddock Hills
The 13: Braddock Hills will serve 6th Street from Braddock Avenue where it will turn in Yost Blvd. While on Yost Blvd, the 13: Braddock Hills will serve Braddock Hills Shopping Center before serving the remainder of Yost Blvd. The 13: Braddock Hills will terminate and loop at the shopping center that is on Ardmore Blvd and Yost. From there, the 13: Braddock Hills will. return to Braddock Avenue via Yost Blvd and 6th Street.
131E: Braddock
The 131E: Braddock will operate much as the 61B: Braddock, but will ride from Braddock to Craft Street in Oakland to where the 131E: Braddock will terminate and loop. The rationale will be to extend the East Busway to Braddock, and North Braddock. Riders that need to connect to the route between Braddock and Oakland will take the 131E: Braddock to as far as Oakland. For those that would make Oakland as the destination will take the 1E: E Busway – Oakland and for Downtown, the E1: East Busway. This will be possible once the East Busway is extended to the places it will eventually need to serve.
132E: North Braddockk
The 132E: North Braddock will operate much as the 61A: North Braddock with exception to starting at the North Braddock Station for the East Busway, and connect to the current 61A: North Braddock until reaching Oakland where the 132E: North Braddock will terminate and loop at Craft Street. This is to reduce the number of primary routes and consolidate what would be repeat routes as much as possible.
The East Busway will extend to North Braddock. Once that happens, riders can board the E1: East Busway, and 1E: E Busway – Oakland. These routes will get to the destination much quicker than either of the noted secondary routes, and therefore will make the expansion of the East Busway worthwhile
