Hazelwood

There will be a limited number of routes for Hazelwood. Hazelwood will receive the designation of 12. Neither one will be a primary route instead relying on routes that would Second Avenue to go to Downtown. The routes will be defined even though there is no service to Downtown, the routes here will remain important. The routes are as follows:

  • 12: Greenfield
  • 121E: Lawrenceville

12: Greenfield

The 12: Greenfield will connect Greenfield with Hazelwood, and Second Avenue – therefore providing services to both Oakland, and Downtown even if one might have to take a couple of routes. The 12: Greenfield will start at Greenfield Avenue and Irvine Street. The 12: Greenfield will then serve the entire length of Greenfield Avenue. When Greenfield Avenue terminates into S. Bigelow Street, the 12: Greenfield will use S. Bigelow to connect to Hazelwood Avenue. The 12: Greenfield will then serve Hazelwood Avenue until it terminates at Blair Street where the 12: Greenfield will terminate and loop.

While the 58: Greenfield will be terminated, the 12: Greenfield will be able to use a couple of routes serving Second Avenue to get to Downtown. Oakland will be serviced by the 121E: Lawrenceville which will also serve other communities along the way – therefore opening more options to the riders.

121E: Lawrenceville

The 121E: Lawrenceville will replace the 93: Lawrenceville – Hazelwood, and service the same route as such route. With that said, the only difference will be in the name. This will allow the 121E: Lawrenceville to connect riders with Lawenceville, and reduce the need to assign a designation for Lawrenceville since there are no starting routes. 91: Butler Street is an Aspinwall route, and the 121E: Lawrenceville will be a Hazelwood route.
